Carol F. Wetzel, age 79, of Windsor, passed away Friday, November 1, 2019 at her home.  Condolences and fond memories can be left online at www.vansant-millsfuneralhome.com . Funeral service for Carol will be on Friday, November 8, 2019 at 11am with visitation one hour prior at Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri. Interment will follow at 2pm at the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery, Higginsville, Missouri. The family suggests memorial contributions to be made to Clear Creek Missionary Baptist Church and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Carol Faith Wetzel was born on May 31, 1940 to William and Maudie Fern (Bowman) Rayburn of Lowry City, Missouri. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1957. In June of 1963, Carol married Jackson Wetzel. They each had a daughter from previous marriages; Norma and Sheryl, and increased their family by one more daughter, Wendy.

In 1963, Carol was saved by the grace of God at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Clinton, Missouri. She remained a faithful servant as long as her health permitted. She was a member of Clear Creek Missionary Baptist Church at her death.

Carol was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel, a sister, Nancy also, a daughter, Sheryl, and a grandson, Jason.

Carol is survived by her loving husband, Jack, a sister, Linda Hofmeister, and two daughters, Norma and Wendy. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
