Carol Jean Long, age 69, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023 at her home in Belton, Missouri. Funeral service will be held at the Vansant-Mills Chapel at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 27, 2023 with visitation from 1:00-2:00 PM. Cremation will take place after the services. Memorial contributions can be left in care of the Clinton Animal Rescue Endeavor (C.A.R.E.) and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Carol Jean Long was born on October 7, 1954 to William and JoAnne (Wilson) Bailey in Clinton, Missouri.

Carol worked at Casey's in Belton for seven years. She enjoyed hanging out at the beach, watching the sunsets and drinking margaritas. She loved going on adventures with her grandkids and spending time with them. Carol loved Jimmy Buffett, Rescuing dogs, riding roller coasters, and loved going to Branson.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents William and JoAnne Bailey, 3 brothers; John Crabtree, James Crabtree, Kenny Robinett, and half-brother Rick Bledsoe, two sisters Tammy Dugan and Cindy Bock.

Survivors include her two sons; Dennis Moore and wife Tonya, and David Moore and wife Stephanie, three brothers; Kevin Bledsoe, Mike Robinett, and Chuck Bailey, her sister Donna Cavin, 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
