Carol R. Kampe, age 72, passed away Monday, May 28, 2012 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 1, 2012 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri with interment in Calhoun Cemetery, Calhoun, Missouri. Visitation will be Thursday, May 31, 7:00-8:30 P.M. at the chapel. Carol was a homemaker. She was a member of the Clinton United Methodist Church, Clinton.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Mary (Mantonya) Smith, her husband Virgil Lee Kampe, November 9, 1996 and her daughter Brenda Kay Harbaugh.

Survivors include a son, Rickie Kampe, of the home; grandaughter Christine Elizabeth Harbaugh, Archie, Missouri; two brothers Nelson Smith and wife Dottie, Calhoun, Missouri and John Smith and wife Mary Lou, Clinton; and a sister Nancy Smith, Clinton.

Services have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri.
