Carol was born August 5, 1973 in Boulder, CO to William and Carmen Echelmeier. She was an accountant. Carol was a pet lover. She was a wonderful wife and mother.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her fiance, David Ashford of the home, two daughters; Amber Renee Ashford of the home, and Cherin Echelmeier of McCook, NE, three brothers; Sean Echelmeier of Lakewood, CO, Darren Echelmeier of Broomfield, CO, and Craig Echelmeier of Denver, Co, and two sisters; Gae Russo and Cheryl Oney, both of Johnstown, CO, as well as several nieces and nephews.
