Carmen J. Goss, age 101 of Clinton, Missouri passed away December 26, 2005 in Clinton. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 30, 2005 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Clinton with burial in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Thursday at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton where a prayer service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Family suggests contributions to the Henry County Historical Society Perpetual Fund and may be left at the funeral home.

Carmen was born in Clinton, Missouri. She was married to William Dodson Goss and they owned Goss Clothing from 1942-1981. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and the Henry County Historical Society as well as the American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 14, Clinton.

She is survived by a daughter, JoAnn Dowler of Lakewood, Colorado; three grandchildren, Kathryn Hart, Karen Dowler and Robert Dodson Dowler and five great grandchildren, Trevor Hart, Brit Hart, Reece Hart, Marissa Taylor Hart and Zachary Scott Dowler as well as a niece, Pauline LePore.
