Carma Ann Roper, age 69, of Blue Springs, Missouri passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025 at Shangri-La Rehab center in Blu Springs, Missouri. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 17, 2025 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel in Clinton, Missouri. Inurnment will follow in the Englewood Cemetery in Clinton, Missouri. Memorial contributions can be made to the Clinton Animal Rescue Endeavor (C.A.R.E.) and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Carma Ann Phillips was born on May 3, 1955 in Wurzburg, Germany. She was an auditor for the office of inspector general for the government for 15 years. She also worked in the pricing office for Price Chopper for 15 years.

She was married to James Richard Roper for 6 years and together they were blessed with two boys; James Matthew Roper and Richard Nicholas Roper. She also leaves behind one sister Candy Phillips, her brother Kevin Phillips, and one niece Helen Phillips.

Preceding her in death were her parents Lorene Faye Phillips and Ralph Eugene Phillips and one brother Craig Phillips.

Carma was a very devoted and loving mother. She always attended all of her sons sporting events even if they were out of town. Sometimes they were a couple states away. She will be missed by all who knew her.
