Carl E. Park, age 77 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Saturday, August 9, 2008 at Golden Living Center-Westwood, Clinton. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at the Clinton Christian Church with a private family burial in Englewood Cemetery following the service. Family will receive friends one hour before the service on Tuesday at the church. Family suggests contributions to the Clinton Christian Church or the American Lung Association and may be left at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton. Carl was born in Deepwater, Missouri. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, and was a farmer. He was a member of the Clinton Christian Church where he was an elder emeritus and was a member of the Missouri Seed Association.

He is survived by his wife, Ann of the home; three children, Holly Patrice Thornton of Clinton, Chris Park of Los Angeles, California and Paige Miller of Clinton; two grandchildren, Matt Thornton and Michelle Miller, both of Clinton; one brother, Bill Park of San Diego, California and a number of cousins, Helen Gieselman, Paul Woirhaye and Ginnie Shulse, both of Clinton, Janet Miller of Trinidad, Colorado and Mary Blow of Washington, D.C.
