Carl W. Barnhart, age 76 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 20, 2013 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. The family would like memorial contributions to be made to Carl's Great-Grandchildrens Education Fund and can be left in care of the funeral home. Carl was born May 18, 1936 in Henry County, Missouri the son of Tilden Marty and Frieda (Shroder) Barnhart. Carl was a farmer. He served on the Henry County Conservation Board and was a former member of the Elks and Eagles Lodges.

He was preceded in death by his son, Chris and his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly of the home; daughter, Carol DeVette of St. Louis, Missouri; 4 grandchildren, Nick McLaughlin, Lance Wagoner, Chance Barnhart, and Cristin Berg; and 7 great-grandchildren, Skylar, Natalie, Devin, Landon, Caroline, Lexi, and Brody.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, Missouri.
