Obituary

With hearts that are forever broken, we announce the passing of our beloved son, Brantley Wyatt, who was born on June 24, 2026, and went to be with Jesus on July 19, 2026, at just three weeks old. Funeral services for Brantley will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel in Clinton. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. Family and friends are invited to gather as we celebrate the precious life of our sweet boy. Memorial contributions can be made to the Brantley Dick Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Brantley was our answered prayer—a miracle we waited and prayed for every single day for ten years. From the moment we learned he was on the way, he was deeply loved, longed for, and cherished. Although our time with him was far too short, every second we were blessed to have him was a gift that we will treasure forever.

In his three weeks with us, Brantley filled our home with immeasurable joy and unconditional love. He brought smiles, hope, and a happiness that words cannot fully describe. His tiny hands, sweet face, and peaceful presence will remain in our hearts forever. He will always be our precious baby boy.

Brantley is lovingly survived by his parents, Colton and Talissa; his proud big brother, Blake; his grandparents, Michelle & Mitch Duke, John Dick, Nanette & Randy Knoles, and Tim & Lynn Lipe; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who loved him beyond measure.

While we struggle to understand why our miracle was called home so soon, we find comfort in knowing that Brantley is safe in the loving arms of Jesus. Though our hearts ache with an emptiness that can never be filled, we hold tightly to the hope that one day we will see him again.

Our sweet Brantley,

You were our miracle, our greatest blessing, and our answered prayer. Though we only held you in our arms for three short weeks, we will carry you in our hearts for the rest of our lives. You will always be loved, always be missed, and always be our son.

"For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition which I asked of Him." — 1 Samuel 1:27

Forever loved. Forever cherished. Forever our miracle.
