Bonnie Jean Gassen, 75, of Higginsville , Missouri , passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at the Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg. Bonnie was born November 5, 1930 to William and Effie Kisner in Fairfield , Missouri . She is survived by her husband Fredrick L. Gassen of Higginsville; son Wayne and wife Connie Gassen of Higginsville; son John and wife Mada Gassen of Clinton, Missouri; son Tim and wife Tammy Gassen of Columbia, Missouri; one daughter Tari and husband Lee McRae of Higginsville; eleven grandchildren and one great-grand daughter. Bonnie is preceeded in death by one daughter Rita Ann Gassen and one son Rudy Gassen. According to her wishes, Bonnie's body was donated for scientific research to the Anatomy and Physiology Department at the University of Missouri in Columbia . A memorial service is being planned by the family. Information regarding the service will be announced at a later date. Services under the direction of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton , Missouri .
