Betty Lou Hawkins, age 90, of Knob Noster, Missouri passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 21, 2022 a the Vansant-Mills Chapel in Clinton. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Diabetes Association and can be left in care of the funeral home.

Betty Lou Hawkins was born on December 27, 1931 in Honea Path, South Carolina to Asa and Jennie (Thompson) Lallis. Betty loved to read, color books, and watch CNN and MSNBC. Betty worked at the Childcare Center at Whiteman Air Force Base and at other bases all over the world.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Hawkins, her parents, a son Bobby Lee Hawkins, grandsons, Shane Bentley and Bobby Hawkins, one great grandson Brodie Bentley, 2 brothers, 2 sisters including her twin Nettie Sue.

Among survivors are 3 children; Roger Hawkins (Mariela) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Terry Hawkins of Hazel Green, Alabama, and Cindy Robinson (Bruce) of Clinton, Missouri, 9 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri and are pending at this time.
