Betty Jean Hale, age 79 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Friday, June 8, 2012 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton. Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the Northeast Baptist Church. Clinton. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service of Sunday at the church. Burial will follow in Clinton Memory Gardens Cemetery. Betty was a member of the Northeast Baptist Church and the Golden Valley Bluegrass Association. She loved fishing, driving the bass boat, and she could operate any type of farm equipment.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence S. "Shorty" Pine and Idabell Phillips Pine, and one great-grandson Kamdyn.

She is survived by her husband, Howard of the home, three sons, Mike Hale of Lone Jack, Missouri, Lee Hale of Greenwood, Missouri, and Brian Hale of Clinton, Missouri; one brother, Larry Pine of Lee's Summit, Missouri, five granchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
