Betty Jean Daugherty age 71 of Clinton, Missouri passed away at the Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton, on Friday, June 27, 2008.

Funeral services will be held at Vansant-Mills Chapel on Monday, June 30, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with burial in the Clinton Memory Gardens Cemetery, Clinton. The Family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. The family suggests contributions to the American Lung Association and may be left at the funeral home. She was a member of the Clinton Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her son Bobby Daugherty in 2002. Among survivors include her husband, Jim Daugherty of the home; two sons, James Paul Daugherty, Lee's Summit, Missouri and Chris Daugherty, Blue Springs, Missouri; three daughters, Debbie Bennink, Overland Park, Kansas, Denise Cunningham, Lincoln, Missouri and Juanita Terrell, McCord A.F. Base, Washington; four brothers, James Winn, Pheonix, Arizona, Carl Bagget, Paul Baggett and Larry Baggett of Nevada, Missouri; and two sisters Barb McKay, Joplin, Missouri and Dottie Howe. Twenty grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
