Betty A. Capps, age 84, of Clinton, Missouri passed away Friday, January 14, 2011 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 19, 2010 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri with burial in the Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the Chapel. Betty worked at J.C. Penney as a catalog clerk and in the clothing department. She was a member of the Clinton Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents Martin and Anna (Price) Sheridan, brothers and sisters, Phil Sheridan, Agnes Thomas, Frances Klotz, Dorothy Moore, Ted Sheridan, Eldon Sheridan, Beulah Thompson, Martin Sheridan, Merlin Sheridan, and an infant Sheridan.

Survivors include her husband, Harold of Warrensburg, Missouri; daughter, Sherri Royal and husband Kenny of Clinton; grandsons Jason Royal and wife Sarah, Springfield, Missouri and Jared Royal and wife Erica, Clinton; great grandchildren Bret Royal, Eva-Mae Royal, Benny Ladd, and Isaac McGowen; one brother Jack Sheridan, Shawnee, Kansas; also numerous nieces and nephews.
