Betty Jean Cain, 99 years, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at her home in Clinton, Missouri with her family by her side. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at Golden Valley Seventh Day Adventist Church in Clinton, Missouri. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service. Burial to follow in the Good Hope Cemetery Clinton, Missouri. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Association and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Betty was born on May 28, 1926 in Henry County, Missouri the daughter of Charles Edward Davidson and Maude (Hern) Davidson.

She is preceded in death by her husband Junior Vernell Cain in 1983 and her son David Cain in 2025.

Survivors include her daughter Debra Petralia, son Michael Cain, daughter-in-law Sandra Cain, grandchildren Michael Cain Jr., Michelle Cain, Melissa Petrailia, Brian Petrailia, and Alison Petrailia, her siblings Curtis Vernon Davidson, Wilburn "Red" Davidson, Joseph Russell Davidson, Charles Elvis Davidson, Wilma Alene Norton, Frank Hern Davidson, Lillie Mae Davidson Howland, Effie B "Corky" Davidson-Bunch.

Betty raised her family in the Clinton area. She enjoyed attending church and was a member of Golden Valley Seventh Day Adventist Church. Betty never met a stranger. She loved to eat and visit with family and friends. She enjoyed playing the piano. She had a love for animals, especially dogs.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
