Betty J. Brazeale, age 79 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at the home of her daughter in Bonner Springs, Kansas. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends one hour before the service on Saturday at the chapel. Betty was the daughter of George Jackson and Leta M. (Farris) Groff. She worked for Gerald's Restaurant, the Deluxe Cafe and Clearfield Cheese, all in Clinton. Betty was well known in the Clinton community as being a very loyal, hard working and caring person to all her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She will be missed greatly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Billy J. Groff, Kenneth Groff and an infant brother, George L. Groff and her husband, Billy R. Brazeale.

She is survived by her daughter, Nona R. Hernandez and husband, Rick of Bonner Springs, Kansas; her two granddaughters, Lindsey R. Ashlock and husband, Jeff and Stacy D. Deliss and husband, Brent; her grandson, Devin M. Belknap; her sister, Joy J. Crawford of Clinton, Missouri and her brother, Glenn I. Groff and wife, Sharon of Punta Gorda, Florida as well as several nieces, nephews and one cousin.
