Bernice E. Vansant, age 99 years, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Clinton Healthcare and Rehabilitation, Clinton, Missouri. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Bernice was born September 5, 1914 in Searcy, Arkansas. She worked for Grace Company in Belton, Missouri as a seamstress for 25 years. Bernice loved to quilt and garden.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Don Everman and Emmett Vansant, and a son, Wilson Everman.

Survivors include 2 sons, Loren Everman and Bill (Pat) Everman both of Clinton, Missouri, daughter Marlene Oshields of Burkburnett, Texas, step- children Carl Vansant of Kansas City, MO and Jane Sinclair of Ohio, 2 sisters, Wilma Means and Olivebelle Bronk both of Stillwell, Oklahoma, 11 grandchildren, as well as numerous great-grandchildren.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, Missouri.
