Bernice Talley, age 89 years, passed away Friday, December 5, 2014 at Baywoods Crossing Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Pasadena, Texas. A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri. Private family inurnment in Englewood Cemetery will be held at a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions to American Cancer Society or the Clinton Christian Church and may be left in care of the funeral home. Bernice was born May 5, 1925 in Kansas City, Kansas the daughter of John and June (Schiller) Jackson. She worked as a nurse in Kansas City, Kansas for many years. Bernice was a member of the Clinton Christian Church, Order of the Easter Star, and the V.F.W. Auxiliary. She was also a hospital volunteer.

Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clifford in 1993, and a son, David.

Among survivors is her son, Clifford Talley of Houston, Texas, 4 brothers; Dean Jackson of Amsterdam, Bob Jackson of Harden, Kentucky, Eddie Jackson of Deepwater, Missouri and Clyde Jackson of Wheatland, Missouri, 2 sisters, Betty Jackson of Amsterdam and Dorothy Chaney of Wheatland, Missouri, 2 grandchildren, David Talley and his wife, Jessica and Gena Riggs and her huband, Nick, and 3 great-grandchildren, Preston and Seth Talley, and Blake Riggs.
