Ben G. Barrows, age 91 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Monday, January 1, 2007 at his home. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, January 4, 2007 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends from 6:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. Wednesday at the chapel. Family suggests contributions to the Clinton Church of the Nazarene and may be left at the funeral home.

Ben was born in Clinton, Missouri. He worked as an electrician for General Motors before he retired. He was member of the Clinton Church of the Nazarene and the Clinton Senior Center Building Committee.

His wife, Laura Mae Barrows preceded him in death on November 21, 2006.

He is survived by four sons, Don Barrows and wife, Wynona of Brooksville, Florida, Bob Barrows and wife, Verona of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Bill Barrows and wife, Lynn of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Larry Barrows and wife, Janice of Clinton, Missouri; two daughters, Judy Matthews and husband, Wayne of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Leta Mowen and husband, Rick of Shawnee, Kansas; a son-in-law, Stephen Colaw and wife, Joyce of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Barrows of Sun City, Arizona and Myrtle Barrows of Knoxville, Tennessee as well as 16 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren.
