Barbara Ann White was born in Appleton City, Missouri on March 6, 1940 to Richard B. White and Dorothy Craig White of Johnstown, Missouri.  Her Mother Dorothy lived but a few short hours following her birth and she was raised by a very loving Grandmother and Grandfather, Ruth and Torrance White.
They lived on several farms in and around Montrose and Clinton before settling in the Bethlehem community East  of Clinton, Missouri.  She graduated from Clinton High School in 1958.  In 1962, her Grandfather Torrance White suffered a fatal heart attack and she and her grandmother moved to South Orchard Street in Clinton.
Both of her grandparents were extremely loyal to Barbara Ann and she was listed as one of their children in both of their obituaries.  Barbara became the caretaker for her Grandmother White until her death in 1973.  After high school Barbara became a director of news for KDKD Radio and she had a live, on air,  radio program.  When the station changed hands she became employed by Rival Manufacturing.  She was a charter member of the Northeast Baptist Church where she was a greeter and passed out the weekly bulletins.  Barbara also took it on herself to call each member of the church membership on their birthdays and as the church continued its rapid expansion,  this became more and more of a of a full time assignment.  The family would also like to take this opportunity to thank the many church members who donated their time and services, helping Barbara to continue to live alone
in her home.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Vansant-Mills Funeral Home Clinton, Missouri.
