Barbara P. Ragsdel, age 77 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton. Funeral Services will be Sunday, August 28, 2011, 2:00 p.m. at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, with interment in Urich Cemetery, Urich, Missouri. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Golden Valley Memorial Hospital Foundation for Diabetes. Barbara was born in Ponca City, Oklahoma the daughter of William Paul and Cora Edith (Bukey) Arnold. She was married to James Andrew Ragsdel. Barbara worked as a clerk for K.C.P&L for seventeen years before retiring.
She was a member of the Urich Presbyterian Church, Urich, Missouri. She was also a member of A.B.W.A., The Grand River Homemakers Club and D.A.R.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, William and Cora Arnold and one son James Andrew "Jackie" Ragsdel II.

She is survived by her husband James Ragsdel of the home; one son Tim Ragsdel of Independence, Missouri; one daughter Paula Lewis and husband Dennis of Clinton; one brother Craig Arnold of Houston, Texas and one grandson Drew Lewis.
