Barbara Ann Hartsell, age 67, of Clinton, passed away at her home Sunday, January 13, 2013. Memorial services will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Deepwater, Missouri. No visitation. Family suggests memorial contributions to A.S.P.C.A. or the Humane Society and may be left in care of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri. Barbara was a homemaker. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Faith and Hope Club, D.A.M. Painters in Warsaw, and was a Red Hatter.

She was preceded in death by her parents Allen and Bertha (Pryor) Lee, her husband Robert Leon Hartsell, daughter Tonya Sawtell, grandson Aaron Sawtell, brother Dennis Thomas, and her step-father Elsworth Thomas.

Survivors include her sons Tim Hartsell and Jeffery Hartsell, both of the home and Robert Hartsell of Independence; daughter Pamela Savage of Independence; son-in-law Scott Sawtell of Kansas City, Missouri; four brothers, John Thomas, Lee's Summit, William Thomas, Ridgeway, Ben Lee, Springfield, and Junior Lee, Colorado; eight sisters, Dorothy Sprague, Deepwater, Sharon Graham, Pleasant Hill, Wilma Godfrey and Jackie Holland both of Lee's Summit, Betty Beals, Independence, Linda, Colorado, and Stella and Verna of Kansas; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
