Aretha M. Sell, age 82 years, of Deepwater, Missouri passed away Friday, March 28, 2014 at Truman Lake Manor, Lowry City, Missouri.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at the Deepwater Baptist Church, Deepwater, Missouri.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Interment will follow in Lowry City Cemetery, Lowry City, Missouri.  The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Heartland Hospice and may be left in care of the funeral home.  Fond memories and condolences can be left online at www.vansant-millsfuneralhome.com .

Aretha was born March 27, 1932 in Deepwater, Missouri the daughter of Jerry and Etta (Parscale) Hills.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Deepwater Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen, and sons, 'Rocky' and Tim.

Survivors include her daughter, Marsha Lerner and her husband, Drew of Overland Park, Kansas, daughter-in-law Carol Sell of Deepwater, Missouri, three grandchildren; Ashley, Tara and Rocky, and a sister, Kathryn Millam of Raytown, Missouri.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, Missouri.
