To their union three children were born as follows: Holly Patrice, Christopher, and Paige. Holly Patrice has one son, Matthew and Paige has one daughter, Michelle.

At an early age (11 years old), Ann accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Over the years, Ann willingly served at the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ in Clinton. Sisterhood, was a member of the Designing Women's Garden Club, and was a docent at the Henry County Museum.

Ann's real passion was teaching children for 26 years in the Clinton School System as a remedial reading and math teacher. She believed in helping children to succeed. Ann loved working in her flower garden, traveling, and reading. She wanted to learn something new each and every day.
