Alvin Lee Puckett was born August 12, 1931 in Leesville Township, Henry County, Misssouri and passed away December 29, 2006 at St. Joseph Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 75 years.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Monday, January 1, 2007 at Vansnat-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in Clinton Memory Gardens Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends one hour before the service on Monday at the chapel. Family suggests contributions to the Gideons Internatonal and may be left at the funeral home.

Alvin spent 21 years in the U. S. Air Force. He served as a maintenance crew chief on B-36's, B-52's and C130's. After retiring from the Air Force he made his home in Clinton and operated a real estate business until his health failed.

He married Phyllis Glee Cooper in March of 1952 and to this union five children were born. Alvin accepted Christ at any early age during a service at Tebo Baptist Church and was a member of the Northeast Baptist Church, Clinton.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis of the home; four sons, Paul and wife, Karen of Harrisonville, Missouri, Douglas and wife, Linda of Olathe, Kansas, Norman and wife, Sabrina of Mazon, Illinois and Kenneth of Clinton; one daughter, Diane Richman and husband, Mark of Holden; one brother, Merle Puckett and wife, Barbara of Urich, Missouri as well as nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
