Alta P. Corwin, age 82 of Windsor, Missouri passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Camden Health Center, Harrisonville, Missouri. Memorial Services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 19, 2010 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, with inurnment in the Holden Cemetery, Holden, Missouri. Family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the Chapel. Alta was born in Huntingdale, Missouri. She was married to Max Corwin, who preceded her in death.
She was a tool crib attendant for Stahl's and a cook for the Holden Schools before retiring. She was a member of the Quarles Baptist Church.

Alta is survived by her daughter, Sheryl LaFavor and husband Brad of Windsor, Missouri; two sons, Donald Corwin and wife Diane and David Corwin all of Holden, Missouri; one brother, Ray Wilson and wife Vera of Heartwell, Georgia; as well as five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
