Alice "Jackie" Wilson, age 83, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 at St. Mary's Manor, in Blue Springs, Missouri. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Crossroads Hospice and can be left in care of the funeral home. Jackie enjoyed fishing, gardening, traveling, and the outdoors. She loved her family.

She was preceded in death by husband, Kenneth Wilson, a daughter, Connie Evangeline Wilson, parents, Albert and Gladys (Whiteman) Shepherd; two brothers, Jim and Bill Shepherd; and two sisters, Helene Rodgers and Eveline Biston.

Surviving her are two daughters, Pamela Gale Lee and Phyllis Gillespie, both of Independence, Missouri; four grandchildren, Donald Lee, Lesley Carpenter, Denise Kean, and Chris Gillespie; and eight great-grandchildren, Taylor, Donnie, Jenna, Sam, Cameron, Riley, Blake, and Brett.
