Akiko Jones, age 86, of Clinton, Missouri passed away Monday, September 16, 2013 at Clinton Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Clinton, Missouri. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Mt. Zion Methodist Church, Deepwater, Missouri with interment following in Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 18, 2013 from 6:00-7:30 P.M. at the Vansant-Mills Chapel. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Mt. Akiko was born May 10, 1927 in Japan. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lowell, 2 sisters and 1 brother.

Survivors include 2 sons, Ronald (Joan) Jones of Altus, Oklahoma and Raymond (Pat) Jones of Montrose, Missouri; 2 daughters, Myrna (Stan) Hilty of Clinton, Missouri and Marilyn (Keith) Hankins of Stockton, Missouri; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
