Fern F. Wilson, age 88, of Clinton passed away Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Golden Living Center Westwood, Clinton, Missouri. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, August 25, 2013 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Montrose, Missouri. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Hopewell Cemetery Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home. Fern was born January 15, 1925 in Los Animas, Colorado the daughter of Eugene and Gladys (Marsh) Foster. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and Women's Mission Action Group, and also served as an election judge for the Davis R-12 Township. Fern was also an active member and the Historian for the Missouri Cumberland Presebyterian Women. She loved to garden, can vegetables, and she enjoyed teaching little children in Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.
Fern was preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters, Mary Miller, Dorthy Burnfine, and Marie Dick; and 1 brother, James Foster.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Glenn of the home; 2 sons, Kevin (Connie) Wilson of Pleasant Hill, Missouri and Ron (Suan) Wilson of Olathe, Kansas; 1 sister, Rose Routh of Weaubleau, Missouri; 2 grandchildren, Patrick Wilson and Nicole Vardys; and 2 great-grandchildren, Alyson and Cody Scrivner.
