alk into the Vansant-Mills Funeral Home and you'll feel the warmth. Vansant-Mills is Clinton's only 100% locally owned and family operated funeral home, and that, family spirit is felt as soon as you enter our doors. The first thing one might notice is the overwhelming collection of trains; everywhere you look, there is evidence of David's love of trains and of family. The trains represent a peaceful journey and have been a love of owner/funeral director David Mills through-out his life. The office is filled with trains and train memorabilia and the children's room is, you guessed it, complete with a train layout.
The funeral home was established by Howard and Genetta Vansant in 1938. After completing his training in Dallas, Texas, David worked with Howard and following his death in 1977, purchased the funeral home. Today he continues to follow in the Vansant tradition of compassionate, caring, friendly service. Believing deeply that each life is special, the staff of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home provide the personal touch with each family they serve.
In addition to providing traditional funeral services, Vansant-Mills Funeral Home offers memorial services, cremation services and personalization with memorial and video tributes. Each Christmas season, a memorial service is held and each family we have served during the previous year is given a hand crocheted angel ornament in their family member's honor. Pre-planning options are available which ensure your individual wishes are carried out at the most reasonable cost.
You can contact us using this site's e-mail services or come by and visit us today, our family is waiting to serve you.
